I am a History Professor at Honolulu Community College, where I currently teach World History, World History and Film, and Asian History courses. My dissertation focused on Japanese composer Nakayama Shimpei 〔中山晋平, 1887-1952) and the development of the popular music industry in Japan.
My other other interests include movies, reading non-fiction and fiction, the history of religion, philosophy and theology.
I look forward to working with you!
